ARCH 281: DESIGN STUDIO 2A

Studio 2A instructed by Duane McLemore , is the introduction to curvature to the architectural discourse of geometry as a means of engaging form. in phase one we use circles to create diagrams that derive from San Giovanni Dei Fiorentini precedent to re-create the original plans. in phase two we use the plan to recreate the section with the use of grasshopper definitions to create a unique form. As fallowed in phase 3 we take the form and introduce our assigned program, this being an Aquatic auditorium in Los Angeles. In my project i introduced a parabolic base structure and a circular circulation inspired by the Guggenheim museum.
