ARCH 243: Materials &method

Materials and methods instructed by Eric Olsen aims to explain the behavior and properties of materials, manufacturing methods, characteristics, durability and sustainability, most commonly used in construction based on the science of materials. In the first stage of our group project we did an extensive research on the material used in our case study, the sharp center for design in Canada. After the research we brainstormed on different designs to build using steel post, steel i beam, aluminum envelope, glass and light. After the design process for the last stage we build our design using the same methods used in our case study such us welding, pouring concrete and light wiring.
